You can apply for a passport at the Exit & Entry Administration Ministry of Public Security, which is located at No. 1500, Minsheng Road, Pudong District. The things you need to bring are your ID card and copy, two 2 inch photos, and your family’s household registration booklet and copy. The total cost is 200 Yuan. After completing two forms and waiting for two weeks, you can pick up your passport at Exit & Entry Administration Ministry of Public Security, or ask them to mail it to you, which will cost extra money.

Tips:

Photo taking and copying service are provided, but the fees are a little bit higher.
