Visa can be applied for at The Consular Section of the U.S. Consulate General, which is located on the 8th floor of the Shanghai Westgate Mall at 1038 West Nanjing Road.
Things you need to bring with you:
1. Passport
2. DS-160 (Online NIV Application Form)
3. A 5cm*5cm photo
4. Application fee receipt from China CITIC Bank
5. SEVIS I-901 Fee receipt
6. EMS mailing label (You'll get it at The Consular Section of the U.S. Consulate General)
7. Offer from Rider University
8. Family’s household registration booklet and copy
9. Transcript from Sanda University
10. Certificate of CET-6
11. Bank Statements
12. Incumbency certification and proof of income of parents or any sponsors
13. The certificate of house property and copy

PS: Item 11-13 are optional items. The key is to bring any documents you feel might help demonstrate that you do not intend to immigrate to the United States.
Materials prohibited from bringing with you:
1. Purses, bags, cell phones, cameras, and other electronic devices.
2. Family or friends who do not have an interview appointment.

2. Which college will you attend?
3. How long will you stay there?
Tips: Don't be nervous when facing the visa officers. Just tell the truth, and never cheat visa officers. And you'll get your visa from EMS in 3-10 days.
